iMover Instructions

If you are a customer who doesn’t want to set up an in-home survey but wants us to see the items you are moving, use the iMover app. Simply go to the App Store or Google Play on your phone and search for “iMover” (or follow those links). Install the application by that name and select “I am moving.” The app will give you instructions to go through the rooms you are moving items from and record video of them, narrating what is going, what isn’t going, etc. You can name the videos based on what rooms they are of, save them, and move on to the next room.

Once you are done, you will choose the “Share” option, which will pull up an email. Enter any My Guys Moving & Storage employee’s email (use 2gtrichmond@2gt.com if you don’t already have one) into the “To” field and send us the email with your iMover ID. We will go onto the iMover website and enter the ID to view your videos.  Be sure to include the video i.d. in your e-mail.  Usually six alpha numeric characters.
